"Let me start, man, 'cause I know there's people out here listening: Look, I'm enjoying life, okay? You would be doing the same thing. Don't look down upon me," said 2 Chainz. "[You might ask,] 'Who's gonna pay that for a verse?' Your favorite rapper paid it. Don't even worry about it."
"The thing is, when it comes to your video, I'm gonna change clothes twice. They're never gonna see that outfit again," he said. "I'm gonna give you bars. I'm gonna wear fancy glasses and a bunch of chains you've never seen. I mean, I could help you."

Brittany Nicole Harris left a 3-year old and a 5-year old in the parking lot of the Cruzan Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla. to attend the America's Most Wanted Tour.

“She originally said her cousin brought the kids here, but then she confessed that she came here and left the kids to stay in the car so she could watch the concert,” the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy wrote in the arrest report.
According to the Palm Beach Post, the children were discovered by an amphitheatre employee and had been in the parking lot for over two hours. The children told the employee that their mother went to the concert and she was subsequently arrested.
Child welfare agents took the children.

RiFF RaFF Suing Over "Spring Breakers"
Rapper RiFF RaFF has been complaining for months that James Franco's character in the film Spring Breakers was based on him, and how he's taking the matter to court. According to TMZ, RiFF RaFF is suing the filmmakers for $8 to $10 million.
“I haven’t been compensated for the Spring Breakers," RiFF RaFF explained. "We’re seeking eight to 10 million right now…There’s a lump sum that’s made per movie. You know, James Franco’s cool. He drop four, five movies a year. He has the money. It’s not about him. You know what I mean? I just need my money.”
"It's like if I have a front yard. And you're planting soil and you're planting trees and building peaches and houses and selling parking lots on my property then I deserve to be compensated for some portion of that money," he explained.

C-Murder Facing Civil Trial

C-Murder Facing Civil Trial
Former No Limit Records rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller is currently serving a life sentence, having been found guilty of second degree murder in 2009; but there appears to be more legal trouble on the horizon. New Orleans’ The Times-Picayune reports that Miller will also face a civil trial in the death of Steve Thomas. This trial is the result of a lawsuit filed against C-Murder by Thomas parents.
"A judgment against him in this proceeding is of little consequence to him," C-Murder’s attorney, Roy Maughan Jr. said. "What can you take from a man who has lost his liberty? He's lost his liberty. There's no money to be taken."
The civil trial will essentially determine if the Thomas’ will be awarded damages and if so, how much.

50 Cent Talks Album Delays

Criminal charges have been filed against 50 Cent for allegedly injuring an ex-girlfriend and destroying $7,100 in property during an altercation, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office said in a press release Wednesday. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was charged with five criminal counts including one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism. He faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines. 50 Cent and the woman, who was not identified, have a child together. On June 23, the LAPD responded to a domestic violence call at a condo where the hip-hop star was allegedly damaging the property of the ex-girlfriend. The woman reportedly locked herself in the bathroom, but 50 Cent kicked open the door and kicked her causing an injury, the release said. According to the release, officers saw broken chandeliers and furniture in the condo, as well as a ransacked bedroom closet and a broken lamp and TV. The "In da Club" singer's lawyer said the rapper denies the allegations, and there's no warrant outstanding on the domestic violence and vandalism charges against 50 Cent. "Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office," City Attorney Mike Feuer said in a statement. "We will continue to look out for the safety of all victims of domestic violence and seek justice for the alleged crimes."
